Dear Countryside Animal Hospital clients,

In 1992, Countryside’s doors opened with a vision of building a veterinary clinic focused on personalized care in a homestyle setting. More than 28 years later, we are amazed at how this vision has come to life and grown, in large part thanks to a wonderful staff and fantastic clients.

Recently, Dr. Catharine Speights made the decision that it was time to once again focus more on medicine and less on management, and so we are extremely pleased to share with you that the hospital has been sold to Dr. Kerry Hoobler-Riek, who has been a valued member of the Countryside family for almost 14 years.

Part of what makes this transition so exciting is that Countryside’s vision will not change. Dr. Hoobler-Riek and Dr. Speights are both committed to upholding the traditions and values you have come to expect when bringing your pets to Countryside.

Dr. Speights will be staying at Countryside as a senior associate, and will continue seeing clients as usual, 4 days a week, for the foreseeable future. Dr. Hoobler-Riek will also be practicing 4 days a week and is excited to be taking on the responsibility of practice ownership. The reception and technician staff will also remain the same, so your experience here should be seamless.

We look forward to the next 28 years of serving you and your pets with compassionate care. Thank you for choosing Countryside. We wouldn’t be where we are today without you!

Best wishes,

Dr. Catharine Speights and Dr. Kerry Hoobler-Riek
